With him and Amerson, our secondary would go from one of the worst to the best. Not hating on Rambo, Williams, or Shamarko, but I definitely want Thomas. I definitely concur. Phillip Thomas is not overrated. He can cover, blitz, create turnovers, and play either safety position. I'd be happy with Duke Williams or J.J. Wilcox too. He did get beat pretty bad on one throw. He also looked like he expected help over the middle on another and didn't get it. Other than that, he looked like a corner who is willing to get in there and hit. If that is his worst game and I have to compare that with 18 interceptions in two years, I am not that worried.
