They would have DESTROYED Seattle. The Skins would have at least gotten to the NFC Championship game.
I agree. Seattle couldn't figure us out on those first two drives. If only RG3 was healthy for the full game, it would have likely been too late for them to recover.
If only...

Garrett is on his last leg! So he has beyond a lot to prove!

I went with Shanahan, just because the only poll I would want to vote for another NFC East coach on is "which NFC East coach is the biggest douchebag piece of frikkin shit" poll.
Plus, Shanny does have to prove that the offense isn't a fluke, he has to prove he can shore that secondary up, and he has to prove that he can balance the option and the health of our QB in a responsible way.

We would have beaten atlanta, our speed on that turf???
Washington 35
Seattle 14
Washington 38
Atlanta 21
And it would have been us vs San Fran for the right to go to the SB and who knows what would have happened then.

As far as hot seat, really the only answer is Jason Garrett. But most to prove, to me, is not necessarily the same question
Agree , two completely different things.

I voted for Kelly. He's the only one who hasn't shown what they can do on a professional level.
Shanahan PROVED last season he can still build a contender. He has taken a team who was completely destroyed by incompetence over a decade and turned them into a Super Bowl contender in 3 years. Year #4 will be a great one.
We know Coughlin can be either a world champion or a guy who loses his team in an ugly end-of-year collapse. He'll be on the chopping block in Week 6 and end up winning a Super Bowl or he'll be cruising through a great season 3/4 the way through only to miss the playoffs after his team looks like they've quit a month early. He's the ultimate Jekyl and Hyde coach but he's earned his salary.
Garrett has already proven he can't succeed as a head coach, at least in Dallas. No coach without full control and a resume like Bill Cowher could succeed in Dallas and it's still debatable whether Jerry Jones could even concede the team to a coach of that caliber. Jerry Jones will not allow his chosen boy Garrett to succeed because of his own ego. There's a reason the Cowboys have not been contenders for 17 years. They're just 1-7 in the playoffs since 1996. Even the Redskins have more than one playoff win in that span and we freely admit we've been a mess. Yet, Dallas fans still act like it's 1996 and they're defending champs, every year, no matter how bad they are. I don't know if I should laugh or feel bad they they have mental illness.

I would say all of them have something to prove. Mike Shanahan has to prove that the Redskins can become a winner again this year after last year's success. In Dallas this is do or die for Jason Garrett. In New York Coach Coughdrops has to make sure his team doesn't fall off and Chip Kelly has to prove that his up tempo offense won't get swallowed up by quick and fast defenses.

I said Garett.
Shanahan- has this team getting better each year. Plus picking up a franchise QB in RG3.
Kelly- It takes more then 1 yr to emplement your scheme. As long as the team looks good trying.
Coughlin- 2 SB's. Tweek his OL and DL and he's back.
Garett- I think he was the cause of the former HC getting fired. He has not done well and JJ took his play calling away. Next step is firing.

I agree with you about Shanahan. All the Redskins needed were a few more pieces and they got them in the draft.
In regards to Kelly, that's not always true. Jim Harbaugh came straight from the college ranks and has taken the 49ers to 1 NFC championship and 1 SB is first two years after the team struggled with Mike Singletary as their HC.
The NYG have holes at LB and in the secondary. JPP is coming off of back surgery and the team signed an aging Cullen Jenkins on the defensive line. This is the year the Giants finish 7-9 and Coach Coughdrops will resign.
Jason Garrett is another Norv Turner....and that's all I got to say about that.

Its Shanny for sure. The Skins won the NFCE last year and Shanny & Co. need to prove that was the start being a consistent playoff contender and not just a one year fluke.
