RG3 is behind those guys because he was not asked to do what the others were asked to do in the passing game. That's a fair evaluation. Wilson won a playoff game and threw all over the Atl defense in their loss. Kap got his team to the SB. Luck right now is a better pocket passer than RG3. RG3 needs to show that he can read the entire field, come off to his 2nd and 3rd options and make accurate throws from the pocket. He's capable but he didn't have enough big passing days as some of the others did. I think Jaws was fair in his evaluation.

In what way is Wilson or Luck better in terms of passing? Passes over 10 yards (where the ball travels 10+ yards) RG3 dominates them all. RG3 has a better passer rating, and statistically and by the eye test has proven to be more accurate than Luck/Wilson. Now in terms of health, they have RG3 beat, no question, but there is no way a quarterback that did not even complete 55% of his passes is more accurate than RG3. Mark Sanchez had a higher completion percentage than Luck and if I remember correctly, they both have the same amount of turnovers.
An unhealthy RG3 outperformed Luck in each of their playoff games, and RG3 played against the better defense and had no knee. Luck is just Matt Stafford but with a weaker arm, in terms of lots of yards, but also a lot of turnovers and a bad completion percentage.

Wilson and Colin have an argument, I think they both played big in big moments. Luck right now has a lot more to prove but all the ESPN folks want to be proven right with Luck so they of course overrate him.

RG3 at 13 is too low. Wilson and Kaepernick get artificially elevated because they play with elite offensive lines. Griffin vaulted us to the playoffs in spite of our offensive line.

Wilson played real well when defenses put pressure on him, but so did RG3 and he was under pressure more often. I think both Griffin and Wilson are here to stay, but Griffin is head and shoulders better. Kaepernick will fizzle out.

Ultimate test:

- Is Marshawn Lynch good on his own, or did Russell Wilson make him good? Look at the history, beast mode was a beast before Wilson arrived.

- Is Frank Gore good on his own, or did Kaepernick make him good? Again, look at the stats ladies and gents.

- Now, is Alfred Morris good on his own, or did RG3 make him better? Obviously he made him better. Morris does not have the elite skills that could set a franchise rushing record (over Riggins, Portis, and Stephen Davis). Griffin's multi-faceted threat made Morris at least 200 yards better than he otherwise would have been.

Jaws thought Jason Campbell was a good QB. That's all that needs to be said. It's not that I think Jaws doesn't know QBs, he does. He's just full of shit when it comes to things like this. I would say the exact same thing if he had RGIII ranked #1.

You're contradicting yourself.

Unfair, Morris has never played without Rob. It also isn't completely out of the realm of imagination that a Shanahan offense made a back seem better than his skill set would lead you to believe.

I think RG3, Wilson, Luck, and Kaep will all dominant the league for the next decade. They're the new Mannings, Brady, Brees, etc.

Don't forget Aaron Rodgers. He has at least another 7-8 years of just dominance from the quarterback position.

Right now I wouldn't take any QB over ARod. But if u asked me that in 4 years I'd say Griffin. Tom Brady to me, as I've said many times on here is the best QB of all time and yes his numbers and wins back that up, but he's getting old and only has a few yrs left IMO. I agree with matt on those 4 mentioned.
