I have the same kind of patellar tendonitis that Barrow has and I haven't been able to play basketball for about a year and a half now. It's real tough to get past. Of course, he has the whole Redskins training staff helping him and I have, well, nothing.

To answer your question, 2BIG, a 3-4 is intriguing, but its not really GW's kind of thing. Also, we really lack a big NT to take on blocks. Our LB corps is fit for it, but the DL is really designed for the 4-3.

I think we will be sticking at 4 - 3.

I always have thought the 3 - 4 was the best way to go. I mean it allows you to have another fast player on the feild. You get rid of a slow DT and if you have a pair of stud DE, you are set.

A buddy of mine plays D3 football and they run a 3-3-5. They basically have all Sean Taylor type guys at CB and Safety. They all are basically little linebackers and they send a different guy all the time. They blitz someone every play.

Speed kills.

Do we even have one stud DE let alone two? . The 3-4 is becoming popular because of the success it is having in Balt, NE and this is a copy cat leuge . The thing is you need the right personel to run a 3-4 properly especially against the run and right now for the Skins I think stickng with the 4-3 base as that is how our guys are best suited it gives us good flexibility and with Williams there the packages can still be mixed up and innovative.

As to the MLB possition I think that is going to be the bigest battle in TC that and CB behind Springs. I think if Barrow is back in good condition but we have some good backups here but we do need to replenish that pool.

Who really knows? It's all speculation. I'm confident Williams has a plan, but is it that easy to just plug anyone in? Does it always work? :oink:

Uh, yeah. I could probably beat your buddy's team with my Madden 2005 team. Using the 'Skins of course. :oink:

IF Barrow can come back healthy (yes, big IF) then we will have one of, if not the, the best LB group in the league.. Think how good they were last year and they basically were "covering" for Marshall at the WLB since they didn't know what he was capapble of.. Yes, it will be a little harder having to "cover" for a MLB but I'm sure Williams can figure out a way.

Marshall put on 10lbs.- LeMar is a player. We have the linemen for the 3-4. Beef up a couple for NG. Besides we could rotate them- always be fresh. Coach Williams is a D whiz-we played some 3-4 last year. I would like to see us draft Blackstock- 6'4" 240 lbs.LB from Virgina.Arrington would be a killer in a 3-4.

3-4 would be great. Salave'a has a NG mantality.Beef him up to 325. He would not mind the burgers. 3-4 is the way to go, much more flexibility. ON Sirius NFL radio Riggo said we have the players to play the 3-4.

Due to recent reactions from other users I must point out that I am only kidding.

ARE YOU KIDDING!!!! THE 3-3-5 IS THE BOMB. You would never stand a chance. And anyway I am talking real life football not MADDEN you techno geek. WHO PLAYS STUPID VIDEO GAMES ANYWAY!

Sorry for the disclaimer, but I got flammed for trying to have fun in a different thread.

It's not my fault you can't play or understand Madden. As far as your 'real life football team', I guess you weren't fantasizing about having 'Sean Taylor' guys at every posistion. Maybe you meant 'Todd Franz' type players, no, he plays in the NFL too. :oink:
