Couldn't it be just a regular kind of disease is spreading? Like swine flu? Everyone is already infected with the zombie virus so once they die the turn anyways.
Yeah could be.
Yeah could be.

The world of TWD seems extra dirty and all the seemingly "normal" diseases that are are otherwise easily remedied are going unchecked. MTK 11-11-2013, 07:09 PM He's back. About time, the whole flu thing and fighting off the walkers at the gate was starting to get a little tired to me. DynamiteRave 11-11-2013, 07:59 PM He's back. About time, the whole flu thing and fighting off the walkers at the gate was starting to get a little tired to me. I was just waiting on Glenn to die. And what's up with that little girl? Didn't Carol make it a whole point to teach her walkers weren't people and to be on the defensive? And what does this little turd do? Assume that because the walker didn't bite Glenn it might be able to be controlled. Ugh, when is she going to be killed off? The Governor needs a new zombie daughter to give all his unrequited love. mredskins 11-12-2013, 08:52 AM I totally gave up on this series....snooze feast now. TheMalcolmConnection 11-12-2013, 10:44 AM I think each episode has slow parts, but the action parts are INSANE. The past couple of seasons I'm like, "Where are the zombie hordes?! Why is it constantly like 3-4 of them wondering around in a field?" Nice to see just mobs of them running around. That's what got me hooked on the series in the first place. I think The Governor coming back will make it extra intense again. I think I unfairly will think The Walking Dead will fill Breaking Bad's spot in my heart, but no way that's going to happen. MTK 11-12-2013, 11:27 AM I've kinda lost my interest a bit this season. I'm sticking with it, but when you think about it nothing has really happened. People are sick and walkers keep piling up at the gates. Whoop-de-do. The Governor should help spice things up. And hopefully by the end of this season they'll be moving out of the prison. It's time for a big shakeup again. TheMalcolmConnection 11-12-2013, 11:48 AM Agreed. Maybe it's my hope that eventually there will be some kind of resolution. Like, I'll be pissed if the show follows this formula: 1) OH NO! Scary zombies! 2) Whew, a new shelter 3) New characters 4) Zombies broke in, OH NO! 5) Run, find new shelter. I can see this show going on for years since it's still being written right? MTK 11-12-2013, 11:55 AM Agreed. Maybe it's my hope that eventually there will be some kind of resolution. Yeah Kirkman has said the one thing he always hated about zombie movies is how they wrapped up nice and neat and too quickly. I think he imagines this going on for a pretty long time. The comics at least. I guess with the show as long as the ratings are there they'll keep going. They could even do spin-offs following different groups of people. TheMalcolmConnection 11-12-2013, 01:32 PM I'd be all about this being a 6-7 season type of thing because there's only so much you can do. |
