sdskinsfan2001 11-07-2013, 11:41 PM I blame our D for giving up too many plays, and really making none after the opening drive pick.
I'm going to blame the O's woes on Kyle/Mike for getting out adjusted in the 2nd half. We scored 24 in one half then 0 after an opening drive in the 2nd half. That's called getting out coached/adjusted. The players on either team didn't get better or worse.
Special teams - mediocre to bad, which is actually an upgrade.
The refs - not just being a homer, that was one of the top 5 worse games I've ever seen reffed, and I've been watching football my whole life.
Sonny9TD 11-07-2013, 11:42 PM I have not once called for Kyles head, but how many times can you lose a game by getting away from the run game? I just don't get it, I mean when you're losing I kind of get it because you feel you need to pass to score to get back in the game, but when you have the lead!!??! I am blown away that we lost this game. For the most part I like the Shanahan play book, but the play calling is infuriating! I am officially anti-Kyle, (or actually idk! who IS calling the plays?)
Maybe I'm just mad and overreacting, but this is NOT the first time by far and I am sick of watching a talented offense lose because of bad play calling.
Also our O line cannot pass block worth a damn, RG3 gets hit on every play that he is not bootlegging.
Deion Sanders just said basically the same thing.

RGIII could of got hit with a closed fist by freaking Rampage Jackson and Ed Hocculi would of said it was clean.

Eww . . . Not who I'd like to have the same thoughts as
Sonny9TD 11-07-2013, 11:44 PM Haslett must have pictures of Snyder or Shanahan or both in compromising positions.
punch it in 11-07-2013, 11:45 PM The D simply gave up way too many plays. FFS you can't allow Ponder to pick you apart. The complaints about the offense are really misguided if you ask me.
RG3 threw for 3 TDs 0 INTS and 281 yards, Morris ran for 139, Garcon caught 7-119-1.
The D gave this one away.
I have no complaints about the offense at all. Well, other than the fact that they forgot to come back for the second half.
GTripp0012 11-07-2013, 11:46 PM I don't know how much Kyle actually got away from the run game...the run-pass balance seemed to be about what it was in the second half what it was in the first. The problem is that on a lot of critical plays, we go with a Kyle Shanahan staple pass concept that we haven't executed well all season.
Third downs they were excellent in the first half and really, really struggled in the second. Hankerson converted every third down he was targeted on all game, never even gets a glance on those sacks.
sdskinsfan2001 11-07-2013, 11:48 PM The team has enough talent to make the same run as last season.........
But first the cancer that is Kyle shanahan needs to be dealt with
Last year was a fluke, this years team stinks! Losing this bad wouldn't be as bad if we had a 1st round pick, but we don't. (Not hating on the trade - I love having RGIII as our qb), but it just makes losing over and over when we should win even worse. Its hard to be excited to have a top 10 pick in the 2nd round.

Yeah I suppose with the failed third downs we didn't have as many run opportunities, but with the success we were having on the ground, with a good lead, why not run it down their throats?
GTripp0012 11-07-2013, 11:49 PM I agree. We're not giving back those wins at the end of last year -- they'll be ours forever -- but they were fluky. A total diversion from the way that the team has played the last four years.
