I did just read that Fred Smoot thinks we should pick up Reed.
Unless Reed can play DB, I don't think Reed would be much of a help. He wouldn't be an upgrade from Meriweather.
Fred would make a moronic GM. Ed Reed was even horrible his last year with the Ravens. Sure he made some big plays, but he gave up more than he created. Ravens didn't re-sign him for a reason and the Texans cut him mid-season for a reason.

I might sound crazy but... if hes willing to take like almost no money could be a nice mid season pickup for a late run. ah maybe im crazy ive convinced myself

If cheap, why not? Maybe he'll play angry after getting cut.
We need SOMEONE. Shame about Philip Thomas' injury...we could really use him right now.

I was never a big fan of Carter until last night. How many guys with big egos like him, looks the people in the eye that he screwed over and apologizes. Outstanding piece.
