If you're a beer drinker at all, you have to check out McSorleys Old Ale House. It's small, its packed, but its VERY cool for a quick beer (Only can order "light" or "dark"): McSorley's Old Ale House - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/McSorley's_Old_Ale_House)
Staying on with a bar/museum, Fraunces Tavern is a bar (maybe my favorite I've been to)/musem: Fraunces Tavern® Museum (http://frauncestavernmuseum.org/)
You don't need to drink to enjoy either of these two places, both very cool with a lot of history.

Are you trying to get him syphilis?
Great info!
I'm not much of a drinker but I plan on getting tanked and hopefully finding women from NJ.

I've stopped in there at 2pm on a Wednesday and the place is wall to wall with people.
It's definitely worth stopping in to check it out.

If you like BBQ, I went to a pretty decent place on my brief trip there a couple years ago.
