This is the best contribution that Seastrunk can make - replace RGIII's production in the running game either through checkdown passes or draw plays.

He didn't prove it in the combine, but he apparently has the speed and quickness to do so.

... this is also the best way to protect him - use Seastrunk's RGIII-like speed and quickness rather than keep exposing RGIII to hits and injury.

Mr. Seastrunk is now my number one new favorite:

Baylor running back Lache Seastrunk inspired by story of Molly Martinsen - ESPN (http://espn.go.com/college-football/bowls13/story/_/id/10225183/baylor-running-back-lache-seastrunk-inspired-story-molly-martinsen)

I don't care how, I want this guy on the roster.

RGIII will always have the option to run, but in this way there's always an extra and better option with a checkdown pass with Seastrunk. Use RGIII's elusiveness for extra time to pass rather than running with it.

... because the biggest difference in the Redskins from 2012 to 2013 was RGIII's ability to pass. And it was because he was recovering and coming back from injury.

love his quote in the Washington Post article talking about his pass blocking:

“I would never let nobody hit my mom,” Seastrunk said. “And I won’t let nobody hit RG.”

The more I read about the guy, the more I like the pick. Hope he's got enough talent to make the team. Seems like he'd be a strong addition character-wise.

Thanks for the link. Sad about that little girl , I hope the Skins get Molly's mother a ticket for the game , and Mr. Seastrunk score a TD !
