Ryan Grant can clearly play, but he's more of a quiet production guy than a physical marvel, and it is not clear to me where he fits in the receiver rotation on this team. He may very well end up being a better option than Andre Roberts down the road, but then you have all this money invested in Andre Roberts.

Quiet production is always useful.

^Seastrunk is the better player, and I don't think it means much of anything right now.

With the first man crush of 2014, the warpath selects, EARTHQUAKE!

man you are making every excuse for the guy. he is the second coming of Darren Sproles or is it Sultan McCullough?

So u can't draft a guy with similar skill set to Andre Roberts? All this money, I don't think Roberts contract restricts our ability to pay anybodyYou can, and they did.

Good hands and solid route running. Just not the burner speed. He may develop into a good #4 or possession receiver in our corp. he has potential to beat out the best of the rest of our WRs in a year or two.

Like another receiver the Redskins had.... Art Monk. Not saying he will ever be that good but he could end up being a good possession receiver.

Seems to be a good comparison. Art was special though, he always made key plays at critical times. But it is definitely the role and player type that he could project to, for sure.

I'd like to see how hard it would be to get out of the Roberts contract in the third year. It was only a 4 yr/15-16mil. Not a cap killer that's for sure, and if we are some how replacing him with a guy who would be making 675k in the final year of his contract I am sure the cap hit would not be felt as much because of the cheap contract of his replacement.

Let's just hope that he earns his contract. If we can get our big three WRs to earn their contracts, giving Grant a year to get some reps hopefully we will see him turn into a solid piece.
