Not sure, but I think there are league rules about such situations.

I personally think it's Iffys number. Portis is great, but he's also is coming to a new team. If LaVar was #26 who would be willing to give it to Portis? I mean, as someone said ahead, if someone took your piece of equipment in the work place it would piss you off.
