man, we better get some damn wins in our division this year. This is getting old. I think we have a pretty tough schedule this year. Granted, I thought it was easy last year...

Don't you want to see teams you don't get the pleasure of seeing on MNF? I want to see teams I don't get to see all the time! What if a team gets hot next year. A new Chargers. What then?

Personally, I watch Monday Night football no matter who is playing, but to get the casual fan to tune in they need matchups with winning teams. Without a crystal ball to use the best way of getting these matchups is to give last seasons playoff teams the bulk of the appearances. I don't see a problem with it.

can't believe a skins/cowboys game on mnf so early,i'm not questioning the mn spot,
just the fact it's so early in the year.i figured espn would get a skins/boys game this year.instead, they got another skins/eagles game.

Damn...one Monday night game, one Sunday night game and a traditional Saturday game. Biggest thing I see hear is that December is all NFC opponents and the last three are all NFC East games. Brutal December.

Sorry Matty...didn't see the other post.

You think they won't give one of footballs hottest rivalrys (though be it somewhat sad lately) a primetime spot? What about two of the leagues highest grossing teams. Both teams have massive fan bases. They'll almost always give the skins a primetime slot.

Exactly, with the whole basis behind it to see if "the Skins can break the streak."

Goddamn we better break the streak.

We're lucky to get one Monday night game. Our record in previous seasons have really done nothing to earn even 1 game.

I'll take 3 vs our division (2 at home) in December. If we're still in it, then we'll control our destiny.

For the sake of my mental health this fall, please beat Dallas on Monday night!!!

I can't take any more losses to Dallas.

I like this schedule much better than the schedule we had this past year. Of course we have no idea how any of these teams are going to be this year (except maybe the Eagles)...but if our D stays solid and our offense improves just a little bit, looks like a very doable schedule.
