Simmons' Take (http://grantland.com/the-triangle/daniel-snyder-washington-redskins/)

If you get past the sensational header, the article cites a multitude of ways fans are coping with this team. Most of the content is based around fan letters and shows how team loyalty is not some static, all or nothing concept. Towards the end, Simmons even talks about how he's gone against a few of his own "20 Rules for Being a Fan" once he moved out of Boston and had kids.

I also didn't know David Chang is a fan and that he wanted to kickstart a fund to buy the team.

That simmons article just makes me feel more depressed. Why doesn't dan just reach out to a successful franchise and just ask for advice...it's the same fuckin problems with this organization and its starts right at the fucking top. I sick of this bullshit, every year it's soemthing new in the world of constant disfunction. I mean honest to God, did anyone this ultimate failure of this team this year? I had no clue it was gonna be such a shit show. Man fuck this shit is old

I can't think of a division game that I had less interest in. I'll be using Eli as my FanDuel QB but other than that, this game is trash.

I won't be watching it I'll be playing basketball and when I get back I'm gonna watch the browns game. I'm done with the skins for 2014 unless rg3 starts vs dallas

I think the Redskins are going to win. Sometimes when there is nothing to lose players loosen up. I want some run to set up the play action. I want the DB's to up their game after being called out publicly. Skins over Giants 24-17.

Every man has his breaking point but for me it's beyond a few actions. This team is a lost cause regardless of whether they fire Gruden or draft Winston. The Ravens have some drama with Rice stuff but at least they have a coach, a stud GM and an owner worth a damn!

...AND THEY WIN! Do you!

This. I've always had a dislike for the Ravens, but I'm now considering jumping ship. I can't take this dysfunction year after year anymore. I can't even watch football anymore because I get jealous watching good teams knowing the Skins will never be good. Hopefully Dan will stick his dipstick into someone other than his wife, and they will record him saying some really bad things.

Here is a tidbit from Rich Tandler:

"The Redskins have been outscored in every quarter this this season. Their best is the third, where opponents have a 72-61 edge, a margin of minus-11. But they then follow it up with a minus-40 in the fourth quarter with a 103-63 deficit. Washington is minus-22 in the first quarter (55-33) and minus-32 in the second (116-84)."

No wonder there seems to be no let up in the misery during a game.

As bad as the Giants are, they're better than we are and they'll win this game easily.

With the decisions Gruden is making out there I'm shocked the numbers aren't worse. Limitations and all I swear to god I can make better play calls and adjustments than that mother fcker.

Gruden wants out, it's the best explanation for how bad his preparation, gameday decisions and public comments have been.
