If anything, after this disastrous year let's hope he has learned something for once and for all. When ticket sales hit the wallet he takes notice.

Wouldn't that classify you as insane?

How were we a joke before he came? Yeah for a few years before we were but this franchise used to be regarded as a top tier team with 3 super bowls and 5 appearances. Now we look like the browns, a team that has no future.Yeah, we were hot garbage for most of the 90's, but turning it around at the end. Snyder's first year looking from the outside he didn't seem to meddle enough to change things, we made the playoffs, went into the draft with 3 first round picks (turned into 2 picks). Then Snyder went on his fantasy football kick, let regular guys go, and it all went to hell in a handbasket from there.

You know what grinds my gear? Fans who think of Snyder as the owner of the Redskins rather than the steward of the Redskins. When he spends he is spending the hard earned money of the fans not "his money." When he makes poor coaching and drafting decisions it's at the expense of fans who have to suffer through yet another losing/rebuilding year.

This man is tax payer funded and in one of the biggest markets and all he does is spit in the faces of the people that feed him year in year out. He is simply not skilled or good at his craft.
Do...what all citizens /consumers have a right......neh a Duty to execute.
...walk away
take your money and support away from that good or service.

I'm referring to the period between '91 and '99. Yeah we made the playoffs the first year he owned the team but I'm definitely not going to give him the credit for that. It's not that hard to figure out, why would I call our 14-2 Super Bowl winning team a joke? That doesn't make sense. 8 consecutive years of futility after that is definitely not something to be proud of though.

I literally havent watched a game since the Cowboys game, been spending Sundays with my wife and kids doing family days and date Sundays. My wife says I need to get back to supporting the team and wants me to watch the game today. So I am gonna go shopping and avoid the Redskins again.

Not trying to offer up a defense but our franchise was a joke before he got here, he's just continued that "legacy." I think our only hope is that with age comes wisdom, hopefully he will wise up and eventually hire smart football guys (who he won't mind butting heads with) vs. yes men that he's friends with.

The franchise was not a joke. Yeah we have some down years 93 to 95 as the team had to be completely rebuilt. 96 and 97 was basically 500. The main thing is it was professionally run and I'm not sure that's the case now.

FFS, maybe using the term joke was harsh but the post SB years of '91 were nowhere near expectations. And when Snyder bought the team they hadn't done anything of note since '91. If you want to call that "professionally run" go ahead, but the point is we hadn't done shit for several years before he arrived and all he's done since then is continue that.

They did make the playoffs in '92. Yes they had some lean years after that, but the team was never as bad as it is now. Even in the Norv Turner years, things were not as bad as the records indicated. The team was mediocre, but it wasn't a joke.
