I really believed he was going to beat cancer - mainly due to his attitude, and always being positive about his situation. Many have told me that the mentality has everything to do with it.
I watched his speech and teared up when he said how he's not going to leave (die) because he promised his daughters he'd be there....i didn't even know he was in the hospital again....RIP
His condition was always worse than the public knew. It was kept secret. I got to know his family pretty well, great people, and they went through a lot of stuff (beyond his cancer) that I can't even imagine. I wasn't always his biggest fan on-air but he was a delight to be around off-air. RIP Stuart
