McCloughan may be a genius, but he won't succeed here if Gruden and his staff don't develop his players. Seattle and San Francisco have great coaching staffs. Gruden hasn't proven a thing yet."Gruden hasn't prove a thing" isn't true. What about Andy Dalton? He's no Rodgers, but better than any QB we've had the last two seasons.

Pete Carroll wasn't very good the first go round. Takes good players.

I was talking about Gruden and his staff here in Washington.

They go hand-in-hand.

I hope this franchise doesn't drive him to drink again. I'm not totally joking
According to some of the DC ESPN affiliates, he's the kind of guy who tries to...."control" his drinking with only drinking a beer....now and then.. In all seriousness, that rarely works.
LOVE the move and I hope. LORD HOW I HOPe.....it works

This was my biggest concern above all. :(

Now, here's hoping we got something long term RIGHT this time!

Really like this move. A true talent evaluator in the position to do just that. Bruce does a good job with the cap, and that is where his focus should lie (as well as being the public face which he is pretty good at). Just glad we have a talent guy who is responsible for acquiring talent and not a cap guy anymore.
