JG or GM?itvnetop 04-25-2005, 05:32 PM i vote keep JG... i accidently hit the wrong vote b/c i didn't read the question the first time (i thought it asked would you rather have another GM or Joe Gibbs as GM, not an ultimatum lol)... RedskinRat 04-25-2005, 05:37 PM OK, where's SKINZ_DOMIN8? CRT3 04-25-2005, 06:36 PM Because people keep saying we need a GM without considering what sacrifices that would mean. At least I don't think they consider it We do need a GM but the speculation is Joe Gibbs would then go. That is the speculation part. djdunick 04-25-2005, 06:46 PM I guess I'm the lone dissenter, I worshipped the ground Gibbs walked on but I think he might be in over his head trying to do coaching and other duties. He most certainly can't keep track of what's going on with the cap and I believe that we need a true GM. That idiot Cerrato should go back to working NFL game day on ESPN. Gibbs most success came when he had 2 great GM's Bethard and Casserly and this should be the structure we have now. As a 6-10 team we do not have the luxury of a QB project that might pan out in the future. We had other pressing needs. Riggo44 04-25-2005, 07:01 PM Gibbs in a second. No question. skinsguy 04-25-2005, 07:08 PM Gibbs. Period. Grayacre 04-25-2005, 07:11 PM Gibbs, with one caveat: Another offseason like this one and I may be as committed to Gibbs as he is to Ramsey. skinsguy 04-25-2005, 07:12 PM Who cares about the offseason? As long as we win during the season, that is all that counts. ArringtonRules 04-25-2005, 07:22 PM I completly agree with you. Look at all the coaches who tried to be GM and a coach. They failed miserably. gibbs should concentrate on one thing whether it be coaching or GM. Seeing his draft his year especially Campbells selection makes me worry about him as a GM though. Look at Holmgreen, Shannahan and Marty who all tried to be GM n coach but did not succeed as much as they did when they were just coaching. I have a scenario for u. What if Gibbs becomes a Gm and Greg Williams becomes a head coach. I could see that happening down the road. don't know whether it would be a great thing or not.. I guess I'm the lone dissenter, I worshipped the ground Gibbs walked on but I think he might be in over his head trying to do coaching and other duties.
