Junior Galette signs with Redskins (updated)

This is THE end all, be all argument. Do you guys understand that we are paying Galette the same as we are paying Frank Kearse and Jackson Jeffcoat from a salary cap perspective?

Knowing that, how you can still have concerns baffles me, and shows you don't understand the NFL's transaction process.

There is the issue of is the locker room/organization strong enough to handle a player who is known to have been difficult for teammates to deal with in the locker room; will likely less playing time negatively impact Trent Murphy's (and Preston Smith's) development; what about the strong possibility he could be suspended for up to half the season. The first two in particular could linger long after the financial implications are gone.

I agree, I think at that price he's worth the risk. I would hate to have watched him sign with a division rival (at that price) and terrorize our QB next year. The Skins needed another pass rusher and got a pretty damn good one. Sure he comes with some risk (maybe alot), but I trust what the front office is doing this year.

What do you think in regards to the suspension, any guestimates? Im so lost on the league and the penalties and where are we on the investigation???

K well if suspended, you start Smith or Murph, find out about them, and then are armed with more knowledge about them and can make a better decision on Galette next season.

I'd also like to remind you guys that double digit sack speed rushers don't grow on trees.
