For any of you who don't have the NFL Network, it pretty much sucks. Rich Eisen is as dull as a coma-patient on tranquilizers (which, BTW is pretty damn dull). The programming is comprised of re-run after re-run after re-run. It never gives you an inside scoop.

It should get better and is worth the money, but don't get your panties in a bunch over it. It might get better once camps begin. It also might improve as the Network works out the kinks and ages a bit. But right, it mostly blows.

Rich Eisen is only funny on those VH1 "I love the 80s" shows. I don't see why he can't be like that on the NFL Network...

Brett Favre can't get Walker to report to mini-camp, but he's probably one of the best team leaders in the league....so it's unfair to say Portis isn't a good leader because ST is a headcase.

That's a good point. I still don't think Portis is a good leader, but that's definitely a good point.

I agree Ramseyfan.........even NBA TV is better than the NFL Network, and how often does the NBA win over the NFL in everything. But I will say the NFL Network was great at pre-draft time and showed lots of the players competing at the combine....and coaches falling asleep in the stands :)
I don't think the league quite knows what to do with this network.....they were even invisioning showing the Sunday nite game on the network, then decided to keep the game on the regular networks or cable. Oh well, it might get better once the season is under way. But it doesn't live up to what it should be when the NFL is the #1 sport in the nation!
