To be fair, they needed a change. Andy did well getting that team all those nfc east titles but it clearly crumbled and he needed a change as did they.
I would say the same thing happened in Denver with shanahan.
And New Orleans with Payton.
And the New York with Coughlin.

True, happens to many quality coaches. The poster child is probably parcells.

..........no doubt
Disagree a little bit.
The Steelers have only had 3 coaches in my lifetime.
Chuck Noll
Bill Cowher
Mike Tomlin
All three have won Super Bowls. All three have been through down seasons.
I do think it is time for TC to go. Andy Reid should have never been fired (I was extremely happy when he left the NFC E). Parcells is a different category to me....he didn't have enough patience.
The organization the most patience also has the most Super Bowl wins. This is what is the most overlooked story in today's drama driven world.

So Chuck Pagano is being retained in Indy; surprising many people in the sports media (and fans too). I'll be curious to see what they do in regards to their FO; I feel that a lot of their issues had to do with personnel.
They need a better o-line, a running game, and help on defense.

You know I don't think pagano is a bad coach, but their gm is a tool bag. They got Andre Johnson and frank gore last year. I mean come the funk on, thats right out the Vinny playbook. They need an Oline, running backs and a ton on defense. Irsay is an asshole as well.

Irsay looked drunk during the press conference, maybe he's been hanging with Johnny Douche,

Tomorrow's headline:
Jim Irsay regrets making coaching/personnel decision after happy hour.
And this is hilarious:

Yeah Grigson is a major step down from Polian. I'll never understand why successful teams just up and rework everything all at once.
They drafted Luck, shipped Manning out, and got rid of Polian all at once. Plus hired a zilch to replace Dungy right before all this. Bad mojo all that adds up to.

I think their bigger issues are not building around Luck, wasting a first round pick on the T. Richardson trade, and getting a whole bunch of washed up players a la Vinny last year (A. Johnson, Gore).
I think the biggest suprise is seeing their GM back. I wonder if Pagano will have more of a saying on personnel decisions.
