So we dropped back 38 spots this year, and added a pick next year? A lot of talent can go off the board in 38 draft spots.

And the Bengals take Billings..

I think at this pick it was pretty clear we didn't want Billings. There are a lot of solid players left (not stars).

I love Scot but that trade sucked!

They didn't like him, pretty easy to figure, and so he we passed.

we have a 5th, 6th, and 2x 7ths remaining in this draft, plenty of talent still there.

So 9 picks next year... I suppose he's stocking up for more bodies to replace the pending free agents?

4th for a 5th and a future 5th (current value 6th) is pretty weak unless the saints are terrible this year. maybe we wanted hassan and once he was taken we opted out? i'm interested to hear what happened with billings. there's got to be a reason he dropped so far.
