Alfmo was running like he was in 2012 last night. Matt Jones is already hurt again...smh.

I thought we should have given him one more year. Last year we had a solid young line, this year is much better which I think he would have benefited from.

Dak is playing well but its only preseason.
Trait that sticks out is his poise and awareness in the pocket.

What jumps out at me even more is the Cowboys pass protection.
It helps any QB when most of the time you're throwing unhurried from a clean pocket
One thing I believe is that Jerrah influenced Garrett to scheme to make Prescott look good. I mean Dez played into the second quarter. Without looking across the board if Dallas was playing their first oline late in the 2nd that would be like Spurriers Osaka moment

Not sure how old a lot of you are, but back in 84 Theismann basically did the same thing. Dumped his wife for Cathy Lee Crosby and showed up to training camp wearing a tee shirt with her face on it. Lol. Apparently before the Raiders SB he got caught in a hotel room with her. My point is, we don't know these guys and like many of us, they have flaws of an everyday man. RG3 is no different. You could see his out of control ego in that comeback video. In 15 years he'll probably look back on this and be embarrassed, like Theismann was.

Well said. Very well said. Social media's instant karma just has such an immense impact on the flaws and mistakes of "todays" players. If JT did that today he would be captain scumbag.

How was the game?

I don't know bout Alfmo, but it's tough to make the case of not needing him right now.

One difference between Joey T. And RGIII, Joe wasn't going around making bible quotes or acting like a boy scout. That's what makes RGIII seem like a phony.

I dont think he is a phony at all. I wouldnt say he acted like a boy scout. He is certainly not a thug. He is who he is. He is a kid still, and comes from a good family. He is sewing his wild oats. If every person who reads the bible and gets a divorce is a phony than he is one in 100 million.
Its funny the whole RG-3 thing. I never once questioned his character or anything in his personal life. I have questioned his qb play since 2013 openly on the WP several times. I still do. I think that IF he finishes the season as the Browns starter he will be one of the worst qb's in the league. I have never questioned his person though. He is a damn kid with millions of dollars who got divorced. He was put into a situation with a qb starved team and proclaimed the savior. Man - not an easy thing to handle in the way of interviews/ pressers/ tweets etc - in this day and age and in that city - wow. He doesn't really get in trouble. I dont think he is a diva. He isnt a jack ass like TO. He seems to me to be a pretty good person, with a straight head on his shoulders. Unfortunately he just couldn't cut it as an NFL QB.
Probably could be a world class track star or something if he had gone that route.

I just think Theismann was always respected by his teammates. Some may not have liked him but he was well respected. RG3 was not. JT would have never thrown a teammate under the bus like RG3 did. But JT sort of played the family man, he'd be on WAVA with Don and Mike talking milk and cookies with his kids, then be hitting his side piece. His wife Sherri actually got the cover of Washingtonian talking about how JT lost his priorities.

I wonder how some of us would have acted when we were in our 20's with millions of dollars and fame. I know it would not have been pretty if it was me. I'd be constantly in the news....lol

JT wasnt exactly as young as Griff when he said the wrong thing. Also wasn't nearly the live audience during JT's pressers as Griff had. Ive met and spoken to family members of JT. JT is one of my idols but Ill say this. JT aint half the man Griff is if we are going to go down the road of morals and character.
