i decided against that, but these are the type of sick thoughts that torture my soul.

The 360 version is probably pretty stripped down, you need to upgrade consoles bro. =)

Actually juts got my son a Xbox One for Xmas for $224 brand new.

I just upgraded form a PS3 to an x box one. I wanted to get a ps4 but target only had x box ones. i paid something like $314 (before taxes) for the x box one/madden package. i just didnt do the normal comparison shopping i normally do this time.

Its about 8:30 on a friday night. Im excited to play madden, get the kid down, lady is watching some documentary down stairs, fire up my brand new 60 inch, crack a good beer, hook up the x box ..... and then it took 2 hour for the x box one to install and upgrade, took the controller about 20 mins.

Its about 11 pm now and im still excited, still pumped. Go to put in the game code (ive never done this before) ... and it literally took over 2 hours to load the game.

1:23 am, im a comatose zoombie but still dedicated to play a game of madden ... the it wants me to set up an account and all this other crap .. i just turned it off.

that's insane, but now i know what to expect when i finally make the jump. i've had madden for 360 for about a week now, just made it thru preseason, getting ready to play the steelers on mnf!!!

i came out of the preseason w 5x 1sts, 3x 2nds, maybe 2x 3rds, a 4th, and 2x 5ths. i swapped all the redskins picks because i know we'll win the super bowl, and i don't want to pick 32nd. :food-smil

OMG i know. Try explaining all that to a 8 year old. When i was my sons age i just rammed a cartridge in and got going. My dad never had to show me how to use it, I think he just hooked it up in the back of the TV.

Yeah it's not plug and play like it used to be. Games and consoles already have patches and updates waiting before they even come out.

Well that is the thing why you should not pre-order games. they release games now a days that are not even ready and just keep patching the shit out of them after they are released.

Depends on the game usually, Battlefield 4 was almost unplayable for the PS4 when it first came out, it definitely took a few months for the kinks to get worked out.
