J. Falcon 12-05-2016, 11:10 AM True. That certainly is not a given but let's hope they play as well against them as they did in their first meeting.
If we can't beat the atrocious Philly team I watched play yesterday against the Bengals, well then we should just call it a season and not even stress over the playoffs.
skinsfaninok 12-05-2016, 11:24 AM Let's worry about beating Philly first.
We lose to them and it's over so can't overlook anyone right now
PorkSkins 12-05-2016, 01:12 PM Remaining schedules for teams who are truly vying for a playoff spot....
Giants: vs. Cowboys, vs. Lions, @ Eagles, @ Redskins
Buccaneers: vs. Saints, @ Cowboys, @ Saints, vs. Panthers
Falcons: @ Rams, vs. 49ers, @ Panthers, vs. Saints
Cardinals: @ Dolphins, vs. Saints, @ Seahawks, @ Rams
Packers: vs. Seahawks, @ Bears, vs. Vikings, @ Lions
Vikings: @ Jags, vs. Colts, @ Packers, vs. Bears
Personally, I don't think the Vikings will be a factor. But, I added them to the equation because they're technically still in the playoff hunt.
On paper, the Falcons has the easiest road amongst this group. I sense the Packers and Cardinals will lose a couple more games, so I think they'll stay behind us in the hunt.
We need to hope for a Giant, Buccaneer, and/or Falcon implosion. Basically, we just need to take care of business these next 3 weeks. The Giants, Bucs, and Falcons are gonna lose a game or two in the next 3 weeks, and we need to take advantage of the opportunity.
Win the next 3, and we're likely in. Win four in a row, and I'm quite confident we'll be in.
sdskinsfan2001 12-05-2016, 01:31 PM We need Seattle to keep winning so Dallas doesn't lock the # 1 seed. We also need the Cowboys to keep winning (vomit in my throat).

basically all of the teams mentioned have to win out damn near. Atlanta is a lock imo, that schedule is a lay up

This thing is fun to play around with if you have some time to waste :)
over the mountain 12-05-2016, 04:15 PM This! Cam, as much as I can't stand him, will pick up every 3rd and 4 by running against our D, and score 2 TD's himself to give us his superman pose on primetime TV on Monday night. We will HAVE to score every possession to win that game...and I'm sure Luke Kuechly will be back by then as well.
Good thing Cam doesnt play like Cam anymore. Past 3 games he has 11 runs for 25 total yards. So of course he will bust out his Superman on us ..
As a sports fan, all I can ask for is competitive meaningful games to get hyped about and watch.

SolidSnake84 12-05-2016, 07:01 PM I just don't see how we can win many games with a defense that gives up 30 points a game. At this point i think Jay, if he is extended, needs to think long and hard about bringing back Barry. We can win these remaining games in theory but the offense is going to have to produce 400 yards and at perhaps at minimum 4 TDs every game. It will be difficult but thats the only way we can win with our defense.
At the beginning of this year, i had us at 8-8, and now with the tie that won't happen, but 8-7-1 could in some scenarios be good enough to make the playoffs using that playoff machine, but we are going to have to win two more games, which will be tough.
Alvin Walton 12-05-2016, 08:22 PM Theres is no playoff hunt...
Nope......dont want to lose to the Lions or the Cowboys again.
Feck that...
Time to start digging into more serious draftnik stuff.
