Bangee7 04-17-2017, 02:22 AM Lol, Oh yeah!? Well I would rather have Watson!
He is compared to Dak by whom and so what? Does that unknown person's comparison determine his skillset? Not for me it doesn't. I watch my own film do my own research.
That accuracy knock is bull as is the deep ball accuracy.
Watson is 3rd in adjusted completion rate. 3rd.
You know what Watson was praised for at the combine (and people were surprised by even though the shouldn't have been?) his accuracy.
I think Watson could come into this offense and play well as rookie.
I think Watson will make a good Pro QB. I'm sure he has things to learn, just like all rookies do.
Jon Gruden likes Deshaun a lot- he talked up his good demeanor and humility.
And by the way, if you check Watson's college stats compared to Cousins, you'll see that Watson was higher rated (and more accurate).

I'd like Cousins to stay. But we've had such bad Qb's I think we think no one else could play the position as well. If we can get a good trade, like with Cleveland, we could add Watson and some more very good players on defense.

Although I believe Kirk has to agree to be traded and he'll probably only say yes to the 49ers.
I would LOVE Kirk to stay too btw. That would be ideal.
But realistically since their is no long term contract in place this late in the game then its seems prudent to plan now for what seem inevitable next year.
Defensewins 04-17-2017, 02:05 PM I drafted for Washington in a 32 team mock draft my picks were:
Round 1: DeShaun Watson. QB
Round 2: Cordrea Tankersley. CB
Round 3: Dalvin Tomlinson. DL
Round 4: Dede Westbrook. WR
Round 4: Carlos Watkins. DL
Weeks ago I was thinking about the possibility of DeShaun being there at #17. There is a chance he might still be there.
Cleveland, Buffalo, Chargers, Jets, Bears and 49ers all pick ahead of us and all need a QB. But talent wise, in comparison to the rest of the other players DeShaun projects to go some in the 8-20 range.?.?
It will be tough decision for all of the teams given DeShaun's obvious athletic ability and potentially high ceiling.
As much as i want some great D-Lineman, I would have a hard time passing on DeShaun.
I still do NOT want us to take a RB or WR at #17.
