Kirk Cousins has a film crew documenting his free agency experience – ProFootballTalk (http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/03/13/kirk-cousins-has-a-film-crew-documenting-his-free-agency-experience/)

Ok this is a little much now.

Kirk is making it easier and easier for me to be glad he's gone. Holy Shit. I was already realizing that he's not the "consummate professional" that he tries to project to the media, but this takes it to a whole new level. WOW.

For those who are thinking of watching this compelling television, I'll sum it up and save you the trouble.

1. Takes a plane ride.
2. signs on the dotted line.
3. Receives a big wad of cash.

WOW.

If he tears an acl game 1 they are screwed for 3 years. Granted injuries are what they are, but they better make their oline better.

I will be interested (in an nfl fan way not KC specific) to see what happens at the end of the 3 years.

We don’t know the details of the deal yet and what part of it could be guaranteed based on injury

Here's Kirk's goodbye:

https://kirkcousins.org/blogs/blog/thank-you-washington?utm_campaign=KCfarewell031218&utm_source=twitter&utm_medium=social

"There is no way I would be where I am today without the leadership of the Redskins organization … Coach Gruden, Bruce Allen, Dan Snyder. Thank you all for the opportunity you gave me. When Cooper someday asks: “Hey Dad, what was it like playing for the Redskins?” I’ll proudly tell him it was a dream come true.

Thanks for having me, Washington, and thanks for making me into the player I am today!"

But what a D-Bag Cousins is, and what a great guy Alex Smith is, right?

You forgot to include this detail. Right from the get go.

As I’m about to make one of the bigger decisions of my life, I’ll be saying goodbye to my familiar life as a Redskin. After calling Washington home for the past six years, the team has decided to move on to another option and, in turn, my family and I will be moving on as well.

He's a bit disingenuous with that statement. Our team had no other choice but to move on because he had no fucking intention of signing a long term deal with us. THAT is the big difference in the two "good byes". Yeah, he is a douche bag.

He wanted the guaranteed contract all along, so in some ways yes he was all about the $ but he did join a good team so he wants to win too.

Well the team did make the first move in trading for Smith, I think that’s what he’s referring to. Either way it’s over, time to move on.

I’m sure the Vikings are well aware of how their cap projects over the next 3 years. This is hardly a deal that will handcuff them.We shall see they are already asking players to take pay cuts or be cut today.

That’s a normal part of business every year

That’s a normal part of business every yearIt is normal to not only resign the qb that led the team to NFC championship game but telling your leading rusher take a pay cut or your gone?

If the Skins did this people would be losing their minds and questioning the front office.

I'm just glad this is over, it's way past time to move on.
