I looked at the roster, I’m a little anal about spelling

Ha, I'm the same say. Hate when I send an email at work and I spelled someone's name wrong.

Probably because I'm a guy and my name is Ashley and I get called Ms. all the time.

The roster seems set for like 50 of the 53 spots.

Do we keep 3 QBs? Who will be on the team in secondary? Hood or McGee?

I think those are the main spots with questions.

This is on basis of full health. This can change quickly.

Really great job.

I think the only thing I would change is that I'd say they keep 4 safeties, with Smithson on the practice squad, and they put either Stacey McGee or Phil Taylor on the roster as a 7th defensive lineman. I could be wrong though - the new kickoff rules may mean that they need to have a smaller overall lineup for kickoff coverage and hence the need for 11 DBs in total.

It's also possible one of the younger Guards beats out Bergstrom for the backup G/C position but that's too small a thing to even quibble about. I think you're right Bergstrom probably wins that one. He can play so many spots.

The 4th RB spot will be interesting. I think I agree with you - Fat Rob will lose out. Bibbs would be more valuable as a special teamer and they seem to like him.

Good stuff. Fun to think about.

Yeah I could see keeping 7 DL and I also agree with keeping one less safety. I kept Bibbs over Kelley since he's a little more versatile. Perine and Kelley are similar banger types. Bibbs brings more to the table for 3rd downs with his receiving ability.

I was surprised at how easy it was to put together, there are a few minor spots up for grabs but really nothing major. And yes injuries can change the equation very quickly.

Looks good though 8 OL seems light after last year, especially as Christian is a rookie who needs developing and hoping to get a full season out of Lauvao seems optimistic to say the least....

Agree with most of your roster prediction, difficult to disagree.

A few points could be made:

1) I do think Smithson could be cut to keep Maurice Harris who's shown some potential and whom our coaches seem to like quite a lot.

2) The argument could be made that Kelley could bump Bibbs out if he has a good camp.

3) Kalis might beat Bergstrom, but old Todd played decently last year IIRC.

4) Maybe Taylor ends up getting a spot. Then who's out? McPhee? Unlikely. Anderson? Too early. Vigil? I like him quite a lot... Hood? ... Hard to say.

Back up interior Oline is completely up in the air...agree there. I still wonder with Christian as the Swing Tackle...if in Nsekhe role could be more focused inside?

From what Ive heard about RB, Coaching staff like both Bibbs and Marshall...and have been described as more of a backs up of a fragile Chris Thompson. That's why they would keep 4.

Guice....Perine/Kelly as 1 and 2nd down workhorse type RBs

Thompson....Bibbs/Marshall 3rd down/special packages/change of pace backs.

So Guice and Thompson are obviously making the team. But expect 4 here.

Yeah that's why I went with Bibbs over Kelley. Bibbs is more of a 3rd down type, a backup to CT basically. Maybe Kelley beats out Perine but I don't see them both here.

Don't you see Maurice Harris making the team though ?

Outside of that one big TD catch against the Vikings last year what did Harris really do? The coaches may like him but they're also high on Davis.
