I would cut Foster and Brown for the way they are acting towards the team, they might be frustrated but their attitude is what bothers me and probably why the D has fallen apart. I guess we know why Brown was benched on Sunday, attitude.

He has never had 100 yds in a game. His high in any game was 84 which he hit last week in the drubbing we endured (he also hit 81 yards once last year). And no TDs in either of those games. His career game high in receptions is 5 (hit only once).

Virtually every other WR in the league is ahead of him in receiving yards (and a bunch of RBs too, including Ezekiel Elliott, Jalen Richard, Todd Gurley, and Alvin Kamara. He is currently 82nd in the league in receiving yards.

He is not a WR1 or WR2 with his numbers. He's just not.I really don't think he is under achieving, I really don't.

He was always what he is now.

I don't think he ever should have been a 1st round pick, or second, or third.

History of leaving school (toughness and dedication) and any inability to separate should have been red flags. He is also not physical against press coverage and easily jammed.

We're not in disagreement. I didn't say he was underachieving, just that he's not a viable WR1 or WR2. Given what pick we used on him, it is also fair to say it's a real disappointment. Overall, our WR situation is appalling, and it has to be a priority in the draft.

He was supposed to be a climb the ladder guy who could go up n get 50 50 balls. He was touted as a guy who got separation and was physical and faster than people thought. His real knock was that he needed to add more muscle and that he had trouble in press coverage. If he went to several other teams he would probably have panned out but not in old DC. I dont blame him for leaving Wyoming for TCU. He got paid because of it.

Or both?

Based on our track record with player development Ill say coaching mostly. I think that it is part on Doc too, but honestly when you are part of a losing culture, playing in a lame ass environment it must be harder to dig down deep.

As if personal/team pride and more money than many of them have ever seen before should ever be enough 😂😂

He's soft as fuck that's why, he doesn't want any contact. Cooley and others have said this about him in practice and games.

I'm not totally giving up on Doctson, I think he's been trending up, not quite as quickly as we'd all like but I do think he's shown some signs of improvement as of late

Last 5 games: 46 yards, 32 yards, 66 yards, 51 yards, 84 yards. Extrapolate that five game stretch to a full season of 16 games, that's 892 yards.

I'd like more out of my first round WR but that's clearly better.

However, very much worth noting that a good chunk of those yards came while in garbage time while the defense had backed off due to the game being mostly out of reach. Need Doc to contribute when the game is on the line.
