Ezekiel Elliott has privately said that he’s planning a training-camp holdout

Just missed a suspension...time to get paid!

I seriously can't fucking stand Elliot. He's a real tough guy going around pushing over a security guard. I wish the guy he did that to turned out to be a UFC fighter and he got the living shit beat out of him. Would have served that bitch right.

If I were the Cowboys I wouldn't pay him. He won't be able to handle that kind of money and will just do more dumb shit. A lot of backs can run behind that line and won't go around acting like an asshole.

On top of that what kind of guy wears a half shirt to the draft? What a bitch.

Yeah. What a bag of shit for paying for a kids funeral that was killed by a stray bullet in a shooting. Just an all out jerk for helping raise of $250,000 for the Salvation Army last year.

And he should just be shot for hosting all of those youth football camps and to top it off, this butt-pickle is the spokesman for his mothers charity that battles domestic violence against women.

How does the NFL put up with all of that? Sheesh!

So in your eyes as long as a person donates to charities he can act like an A-hole 24-7? Donald Trump has donated well over $10 million dollars to 400 different charities since 2000, I guess that excuses all his transgressions as far as you're concerned.

Completely agree B2.

Writing a check when you have a lot of money = easy.
Acting like a good and decent person = apparently hard (for EE at least).

He does that stuff for good PR and to make up for his transgressions. The dude is a straight up punk. 50/50 chance the Cowboys sign him to a LTD.

I imagine every high salary NFL player does a level of PR, I wouldn't be shocked if it's in some of the CBA language, or an understanding between the union and the players. That said, the number that gets me in Sandtrap's thing, is the He helped RAISE 250K for... That's one game check if he donated it. Yes charity and fundraising is important, but come on if you want to help donate on your own end.

I know that they "only" get 16 game day checks, instead of throughout the year, but I imagine he might have more chances at a side hustle or two in the Dallas area then your average Joe making 50K/year to make up for that 1/16 of his income...

I don't fault him for that, actually. There are more worthy causes than anyone could realistically give to, and so giving time is also important. I do fault him for being a fanny-pack, belly-shirt, bullying douche. He's on the perfect team for that, and it makes it all the more easy to dislike the guy. I am not conflicted like when Emmett Smith or Tony Dorsett (both class acts) played for them. I cannot wait to see Landon Collins and Montez Sweat crunch him into bits.
