When the Matrix came out, I was in college and I believe it was an advance Cognitive Psych class, required the class to go to movies to see it and then we discussed it for like a week. Not the movie but the underlying premise. It was a heavy movie for its time.

Are you streaming only or you still hitting the movie theaters again as they reopen?

The industry kinda seemed to be going towards a streaming model with the pandemic going on…now as the theatre are opened I’m watching how the industry will react. Honestly I go to the theaters much less than I used too, but still usually hit it 2-4 a year for big releases. I’m hoping it sticks around and think it will as the marvel Black Widow disappointed…While the stream option brings in money, it’s much less lucrative for the business.

Im going to see Dune in fall…but I was sliding by to see the Anthony Bourdain doc or maybe Old this weekend. Support the industry as it returns. I’ve heard Space Jam 2 was really good

Theaters cost me like 75 bucks to go with my family and have snacks and i gotta have someone else eating their popcorn in my ear. Was never a huge fan anyway pandemic or no pandemic.

I love them. I feel bad for teenagers ,you could always call a girl or ask her if she wanted to go to the movies. Twenty bucks was enough for the movie ,snacks and maybe McDonalds after the show. Now they need a $100 dollars for a date .The sad thing is there aren't many jobs out there for high school kids anymore .
