Looking at the link it is difficult to tell, often it is a case of the reporter asking a leading question like "What is you goal for this year" .... anything other than having a goal of winning the Superbowl or having the No1 unit in the NFL is criticised rightly , but the reporters tend to turn the answer around to say Player X is confident they will win the Superbowl this year.
Of course the goal for every player at the start of the season is to be on the No1 unit in the NFL and to win the Superbowl, it is not like he guaranteed it.
I'm sorry but when you're coming back to a defense that finished in the bottom third of the league in every statistical category, is it too much to ask to tone it down a bit on what you say to the press ?
Like what's wrong with "I'm excited to be part of this defense, we have a lot of talent and intend to work hard to be the best we can be this season" ?

Sounds like Reuben Foster is actually expected to play at some point in the season.
I hope so, a ton of talent if he can every have some medical luck.

I hope so, a ton of talent if he can every have some medical luck.I do too. I really want to see what he has this year. If he regains his form and reaches his potential, this defense could be dominant. Still think Thomas Davis is going to help this defense a ton also.

Lol. That is awesome. I love the name for the inconvenience it's going to cause for the self righteous assholes that made us change our name.

I think it's funny too. It's like we're trolling the NFL with this as payback for us being made to change our name...making them look like an amateur league on their schedules and other correspondence/reports. It's going to trip up announcers and the pompous members of the media all year, and they were some of the biggest driving force behind erasing our history and identity. I can't wait to see how many times they slip up and stumble through broadcasts.
"So we can't be Redskins...fine then we'll just be "football team!"
For us, we know it's temporary, but it does make their stuff (see above) look stupid in the meantime.
They really should have made that say Washington...that's on them.
