In Vitro Fertilization

We have to do an egg donor thing bc her eggs werent fertilizing. so I took a generic test a few weeks ago and we’ve been reviewing egg donors

Got married last Saturday

I’m always a high energy happy dude but today I woke just extra. Missed most of last weeks game so this was first game I get to really watch the game, cool etc I was doing stretches in my kitchen waiting for my morning coffee to brew

Just feeling real real good today

My lady spent some time upstairs during halftime I figured seeing iif her period came bc I wanted to smash after the game

After the game she showed me a pregnancy test

She’s fucking pregnant!

We know the percentages are small and so many things can happen but bro we are on cloud nine right now

What?! After all this there’s a chance?!

Fuck yeah!!

This is just fucking awesome. I'm so happy for both of you!! Congrats!!!

I was all excited about the getting married part, then you just ramped it up a notch, as I scrolled down. I don't know her, but tell her SDSkinsfan2001 loves both of y'all. Or don't tell her because she doesn't know me, but it's true!!! This night couldn't have ended any better. Hell yeah!!

I'm still thinking about this. This is such an amazing perspective story for lots of us. So happy and excited for both of you!

Thanks yall ... but chances are very very low this has a happy ending. During the in vitro process, half her eggs fertilized but there were problems in each one. They were fertilized but not viable. Just getting an egg fertilized naturally is huge .. but I think its 99% certain this naturally fertilized egg isnt viable.

We were crying and dancing and smiling .. and talking about the happy future what ifs but in the next sentence saying its probably not going to work. Trying to keep the hopes in check.

Thats life.

Yesterday was amazing. Right now its amazing. Warning of Icarus are very much in my ear though.

Nice to be able to say this stuff anonymously on the internet. I cant verbalize these thoughts with anyone in my real life.

13 weeks along now. 7.3 cm from butt to crown, size of a plum, 161 heart beats per minute, has arms and legs, good NT and nose bridge.

So far genetic screenings are all normal. One last screening test result she took yesterday that we are waiting on.

Im 44 shes 42, for this egg to be holding up after she went through 2 separate IVF procedures where the extracted eggs over 20 eggs and they were abnormal

This is amazing. To go through IVF twice and no luck, we were literally picking an egg donor right before we realized shes naturally pregnant.

We plan on telling close family soon.

Im still so hesitant to celebrate .. I just keep thinking bad news is right around the corner. We are in our fucking 40s ... so happy.
