The Bad Coaching, Offense, and Defense Post-Game Thread

Why did we go 7-9? Cause I can tell you right now if Joe Burrow does not rip his knee up it is 6-10. Then we got to play a rookie Jalen Hurts and then Sud. Who was the QB when we played Dallas? Dalton and someone else? Nick Mullens for the 49ers.

Then we get to Brady and they go for over 500 yards. If you are a good defense you do not allow anyone that amount of yardage. You rarely see 500 in NFL games. Last season all the breaks go our way.

They wouldn't want the new name to start off being associated with the current team, I think they baught into the optimism going into this season when setting the date to be after the superbowl. Wonder whether they are thinking about delaying it now lol

I wasn’t referring to last years team i was referring to what we thought this team would be this year. However I agree with you 100 percent. We should have been this bad last year. We definitely got lucky with opposing quarterbacks more than once.

I am starting to bail on Ron and here is why. They sign Jackson and he is a press man corner. That is what he does. He said that himself. They're asking him to play zone which he obviously can not do very well. Who's fault is that? Then this thing w/ Collins who can not run and should not be the last line of defense. He is slow and can not run and we saw he can't jump. Stop putting him in shitty positions.

Just like the QB situation, instead of drafting a QB this yr or last yr he ignores it and bring in Fitzmagic to be the guy... Dude is a 38 YO backup for a reason. Yeah hes fun to watch at times and I was hoping he'd work put but it didn't. Now you are back to square one , Heineke is a solid QB2 that's it

My thoughts exactly, why is he ever anymore than 10 yards form the LOS, the other team can see him and know he cannot cover in space yet the team keep asking him to take deep cover responsibility.

After 2 years of a rebuild probably not, or we are back to the "dysfunctional franchise can't hire a recognized coach" roundabout for another 10 years. But the arrow should at least be pointing slightly upwards after year 2, not nose diving.

You might be justified in pressuring him into a DC change, but then we have been on that carousel for the last 8 years anyway and it hasn't worked either. And who would want to come here if they are going to be fired after 2 years, that was a major problem Gruden had in the end and so we were left with Manusky.

I wanted Del Rio to play less LBs and more safeties in passing plays. Did it work? Winston was 15/30 so that looks good but he missed open guys and hit on some big chunk plays.

Lots of our runs started with the runner momentum going parallel to the LOS and not north-south hitting the hole/line hard.

We needed to win the winnable games on our schedule to try and tread water until the last 5 division games.

We need to steal one from Chiefs Packs or Bucs now.
