I much rather have gotten Burnes than paid Sale. Damn Braves, how you miss this opportunity?

Our farm system is barren as fuck (because it was so fucking fruitful, hence why we are so good). And our top-prospects are pitchers. Don't want to trade young pitchers for 1 year of Burnes. Especially with Fried likely to be gone after this year. We need young arms. I actually like the Sale signing as long as Snitker doesn't fuck up and overuse him. He should never pitch more than 4 or 5 innings. Our bullpen should be dope. Let 'em eat.

Orioles farm system: 1
Braves farm system: 25

This is a paid article, but without paying, the headline states Orioles have number 1 farm system, in-case bleacher report isn't your cup of tea.

A lot easier for the Orioles to pull this trade off. They have prospects galore right now.

We haven't had a 1 since Mike Mussina. Jake Arietta was never developed with the staff at the time.
