I don't think you'd get much argument that our RB room could be better. Everything's on the table; the team was BAAAAD last year.

Chief X_Phackter 03-07-2024, 11:17 PM Difficult to be a productive RB room when you are last in the league in rush attempts per game. skinsfan69 03-08-2024, 09:02 AM We are more than good at RB. Gibson has been used wrong since he's been here. You put Gibson in Kyle's offense and he'd have a lot more production. We had an idiot at OC who doesn't know how to run the ball or use Gibson in space. EB was the worse OC I have seen since I have been a fan, which is a real long ass time. Chico23231 03-08-2024, 09:15 AM Unpopular opinion incoming... Our running backs are mediocre at best. The teams last RB with a 40+ yard run is Guice. Robinson does a good job of getting hard yards but doesn't really make anyone miss or go for big gains. I would sign one of the better backs to help the rookie QB out. Coming into last year I thought our talent was pretty poor at RB. B Rob is good but limited. He’s not explosive. I’m for added a new guy for sure but we need one with big play ability. I’d peak at the draft before spending FA dollars. If the Oline, scheme was set but we just needed more talent at rb coming into this year…then yes FA would make more sense. Either way the RB room was bottom 3rd of the league last year. MTK 03-08-2024, 11:17 AM Not a stretch at all to say our RB room is probably overrated. BR isn’t explosive and Gibson despite his talent just doesn’t seem to play up to what his perceived potential is, and then there’s the fumbles. I’d like to see more of Rodriguez. BR had 4 fumbles last year too . . . punch it in 03-08-2024, 02:58 PM You make valid points. But he's clearly better than what they have now and this draft class is weak at a position that usually takes a year or 2 to develop. I don't know which other TEs are available but this seems like a risk worth taking. I dont think this draft class is weak at TE. I also don’t think that a guy on the sidelines is better than one on the field. He has really good hands when healthy but is absolutely terrible with YAC and a non blocker so what kind of wisdom is he imparting to any young tight end? Like I said though it isn’t a big deal at all. If he can stay healthy for 10 games and shows some productivity getting first downs that is great. punch it in 03-08-2024, 03:00 PM Difficult to be a productivr RB room when you are last in the league in rush attempts per game. And have a bottom 3 oline. MTK 03-08-2024, 03:57 PM BR had 4 fumbles last year too . . . Yeah good point that was a surprise coming from him KI Skins Fan 03-08-2024, 06:26 PM I dont think this draft class is weak at TE. For those who want to see some very good TE talent in this class they should take a look at these players. Brock Bowers - UGA Ja'Tavion Sanders - Texas. Great talent. Big play machine. Comp: Shannon Sharpe Theo Johnson - PSU. Tanner McLachlen - AZ. Big. Catches everything. Good at yac. Ben Sinnott - KSU. Great hands. Runs wild in the secondary. Comp: Chris Cooley. Cade Stover - OSU. Truly does it all. Comp: Brian Mitchell because he plays so tough. Jaheim Bell - More of an H-Back or FB in the NFL. We could get a productive TE in this class if we want one. |
