You don't think he revived it with this last one?

I'm pretty sure Schumacher had nothing to do with 'Begins' -- the look of this new one is so far from the ridiculous scripts, cinematography, characters and acting of the last two disasters he made. No cast could possibly be more embarassing than George Clooney, Jim Carrey, Uma Thurman, Alicia Silverstone (though admittedly, she was easy on the eyes) and Arnold Schwarzenegger in 'Batman Forever' and 'Batman and Robin'.

In any case, how there could be a fifth Batman movie after he got through destroying this franchise is totally beyond me.

cuz with the hopeful revival of the superman series as well, warner bros want to have a Batman/Superman movie.

nolin did the comic justice... i like the overall dark tone. the writing was excellent, and the casting was on point (except for katie holmes).

bettany would be a perfect joker- if you want to see him play crazy, rent "gangster no. 1"

Batman and Robin flat out sucked. I actually liked Batman Forever, but certainly the first Batman was by far the best.

Batman Begins has completely nothing to do with the others.

I just saw it.

Excellent script.
Authentic.

Gotham looked great. The director is loyal to the story of
Batman, and not in love with his own vision (like Burton and Schulmacher.)

And it has Katie, pure and wholesome, sans T.C.'s brainwashing

Matty, honestly it was one of the best flick I've seen in years. I'm sure you'll enjoy it.

I mean it was so good that at the end, I was like "when is the sequel coming out".

I thought it was really good, but also really dark. I went to see it with some other guys and came home to tell my wife that our 8 year old son could not see it until he gets a little older. Too dark for kids. I did not say that about the earlier Batman movies, but this one is truly scary, which is how I aways liked and saw Batman. You know, the Frank Miller Batman.

I just watched it tonight, loved it. Easily the best of any of the Batman movies. This one finally did the series justice and got the franchise back on track.
