When I look back at that season and you compare the game now, it's like night and day. The game is so different today. But the same things still matter. In order to have a chance to win it all you need elite QB play, you need a strong o-line and you need a defense that can rush the passer, stop the run and create some turnovers.

We just aren't a complete enough team right now to make a SB run. I don't think Tampa is that kind of team either. We can win this one, I wouldn't be surprised either way if we won or lost.

We definitely aren't a complete team. But even with all the holes we have, still went 12-5. We have 3 very important pieces in place, Owner, GM, & QB. You could make a valid argument for 4, if you add Quinn.

We would have to go on an EPIC run to even make the Super Bowl this year. But starting next year, playing to make the Super Bowl is the expectation imo.

I prefer to take each game as it comes now. I mean, it's tight in the NFC and even the teams that essentially squeaked into the playoffs (TB & LA) are going to be tough opponents, so you can't even know who will be there in rd2 aside from the Lions. Too soon to talk SB.

But we are a different team to when we first faced the Buccs. With our trajectory we should be favourites, however slight. If the OL holds up I expect a win, 27-21.

IMO I think Washington wins, your season has not been what was expected and you hit gold with Daniels. You go into that stadium with a nothing to lose attitude and I think you win.

I keep going back to the opener, we didn't look like we even belonged on the same field. Now we are not the same team we were in Game 1. But we are also not the same team we were in October. This offense is not nearly as productive, nobody wants to discuss the infamous KK drop off but it appears to have happened again in Washington. Baker is inconsistant but if he's on he is pretty tough to beat. I don't see how this defense stops the Bucs for 4 quarters and I'm not sure our offense can keep up.

Sorry that's just the way I see it. But at 12-5 and still playing they could lose 100-2 and I'd have no complaints.

Sure, that’s their weakness, but Oline woes include terrible passpro, and if Bucs go heavy blitzing cause we have no run threat (other than #5), things could get ugly

This is not the same team as week 1. TB's blitz was effective and caused JD to miss opportunities that were there in week 1. Since then though, JD is a top 5 QB in the league against the blitz. If he's healthy, and we have some sort of running game outside of the QB position, we have a good shot.

I'm shocked Mara didn't clean house.

Giants and Jets man, two complete clown shows.

I feel for my buddies who root for these teams, they are totally checked out and despondent. Reminds me of how we felt the last 10 years or so under Snyder. They have zero hope.

Cowboys d-line managed pretty well against Jayden, whether blitzing or not. No knock against Jayden. I just don’t see such a radical difference since week 1 in our ability to keep pressure off him. No doubt that he always gives us a good shot, though.

Missing our Center sure doesn't help. If Badass is back for Sunday's game, my guess is we'll see a better performance from the o-line...hopefully, that includes the ability to run the ball with our RBs.

Tampa blitzed JD on almost 50% of his dropbacks in that first game. However, for this season he is ranked # 2 in QBR, # 2 in pass + rush yards, and tied for 5th in touchdown to interception ratio (12-1) against the blitz.

Looks like Marshon Lattimore and Tyler Biadasz are back at practice today.
