Rumors of uniform changes

on the rfk stadium drawing JD5's helmet has a different logo. It's clearly not the W. I wrote it off to lack of concern on that detail but this report made me take a 2nd look.

There is also a gold stripe down the center of the helmet that is not thee on the current ones.

Kevin Sheehan saying in the next few years we’ll be going back to the old uniforms (without the old logo of course), and they will be alternates in 2025.

“I just know what I said last October (fall/early Fall), I have it on good authority that they are going to go back to something resembling the old uniforms. It would be a roll out with alt (alternative) opportunities in 2025. So in these alt opportunities this year, I would imagine that in at least a couple of them we are going to have a uniform that looks like the old uniform."

This would be a great move. I still think the logo needs to come back, so take it further.

The helmet is a mashup -- new matte color and W (obviously), but the old stripes and yellow facemask. I like it. The rest looks pretty darn close to the old unis, which I always liked (much better than our current white jerseys in particular).
