Week 2 Around the League

The Giants are actively trying to lose this game. What a horrendous football team. Cowboys have just refused to take advantage as of now. But I'm sure they will eventually win.

Aubrey would have made that from 70. Meanwhile, I don't even trust our kicker to make an extra point.

Saw some of the Lions game. Given the Packers performances against them and us, I'd say the Packers are legitimate NFC champion contenders. Lions were mauling the Bears. Makes me feel like losing to the Packers wasn't as bad a sign as it appeared. Yes we have a long way to go to compete for the playoffs, let alone the championship, but I'm hopeful. But right now, and I hate to say it, the road to the SB runs through Philly or GB.

I think GB is the best NCF team at the moment. I saw some of the Iggles game, and I just don't find them impressive. They had 216 yards of total offense -- just 94 passing yards. They play good D and run the ball well (although at 122 yards only had 1 more rushing yard than the Chiefs), but their passing game is not scary. And yeah they beat Dallas, but Dallas just gave up 37 points and 506 yards to the Giants. And the Chiefs are 0-2. I think if GB were to play Philly right now, they'd thump them.
