I'm gonna get flak for this, but I'd take Jimoh any day over "Seion Danders." As mentioned earlier Jimoh is a high character guy who plays his heart out on special teams. :twocents:

Deion is much better. mooby 06-24-2005, 07:37 PM i would have to agree with jermus, i'd taken the oft beaten jimoh over neon deion any day. Sheriff Gonna Getcha 06-24-2005, 07:47 PM I'm SO glad Deion is playing again. Now we don't have to see him in those tacky ass suits on CBS before games. TheMalcolmConnection 06-24-2005, 11:30 PM What is it with Deion and Irvin that forces them to wear huge neon colored suits? Redskins8588 06-25-2005, 04:54 AM What is it with Deion and Irvin that forces them to wear huge neon colored suits? They are color blind, every thing looks grey to them. So the stores like to see what they can get them to wear, meanwhile Deion and Irvin just think that they are buying a plane grey suit. A crul joke but I like it!!! sportscurmudgeon 06-27-2005, 03:36 PM Excuse me but people would take Ade Jimoh over Deion Sanders? Both are defensive backs and both play on some special teams. That, ladies and gentlemen, is where their football skills part company. Maybe you'd prefer to have Jimoh on your team from Monday morning to Saturday night because he's a good guy and a hustler and a coachable player and all that stuff. But once the referee signals for the opening kickoff, you can't say that Jimoh gives your team a better chance to win than Sanders. Deion is at the end of his rope. Maybe - I said maybe - he has one more productive year in him. More than likely, he will hang on as a mere shadow of his former self based on his reputation. But unless Ade Jimoh does some stuff in the next five years that is about ten times more than he has shown in his career-to-date, he won't have any reputation to allow him to hold on with. It's good to be a fan and root for your team. But I don't think many NFL GMs or coaches would prefer Jimoh to Sanders - - even now. MTK 06-27-2005, 03:45 PM Gotta agree with SC here. Hate on Deion all you want, but even at a shell of his former self he's still a world ahead of Jimoh. Davnpurt 06-28-2005, 03:54 PM I had a chance to meet both (Irvin and Sanders) last year when I worked for the "other" area Football. I am happy to report that not only does Irvin wear those seemingly contrived suits on Game day; he wears them during his day-to-day activities. This man had on a bright blue suit replete with fedora on a Tuesday afternoon. I initially thought Don the "Magic" Juan (of Snoop's posse) had meandered into Edgar Allen Poe's training complex. He's a one-man walking joke. Ade is the Bill Bradski of the Warpath. |
