Bill worked for us a few years back when we had the " we don’t say his name" coach. I though he brought an attacking style of offense to the team, thought we only saw it in practice and pre-season because of the " we don’t say his name" coach overruling all his plays on Sunday. Needless to say he quit on us about half way into the season. I think he went to the Jags for a season or two ( you guys may know more about it ) Worked for who? The Redskins? I don't think so. I personally do not like this move. His offense in Jacksonville was stagnate. He like the Steve Spurrier method of throwing downfield everyplay. Check the stats out in Jacksonville.

As far as QB development, he's played and coached the best. Between Montana, Young, Manning, and Elway, he's been around some great ones. He played the position and any help he can trickle down from the great ones I mentioned can only help.
I don't think he's gonna be calling plays or anything, but he may be helping the adjustment to opening up the backfield abit.
Overall, Im glad to see Gibbs taking strides to groom his young QB's.
If anything Musgrave brings some fresh ideas to the table. I wouldn't worry about Gibbs switching to a west coast offense anytime soon, but we'll likely see a few wrinkles here and there.

Did Ramsey ever have an official qb coach??? How can adding one, regardless of his offensive philosophies, do anything but help him???
