Question? How would you guys like to be an offensive coordinator trying to scheme for the skins knowing that Arrington and Taylor will be blitzing at the same time? Remember, Springs, Rogers, Harris and another safety are still in coverage.

It is gonna be rediculous, rediculous. ST is gonna be the very best safty in the league. GW can't stop raving about him. On the tailgate show or something like that GW said that the second year is the most important and it shows if someone will improve or not, He said Sean made the biggest improvement from last year than anyother player he has ever coached, he said he was "lightyears" ahead of last year
How can he really improve that much, it is gonna near perfect, and ST is gonna make a really really big name for himself if our team begins to win a few games, If we win he will start living up to his potential.

Well, I'm sure he's still far away from perfection. But I think when he get's to the place, like our friend Ed Reed from up the road there, that every time he touches the ball he could score then I think he's getting close.
But the ultimate test, IMO, of his arrival is when other teams bring his name up first, not LaVar's, not M.Washington's, but ST when planning for game day then I think he's pretty much arrived.

I said before we drafted this kid that he could go down as the greatest saftey of all time, I was a big fan of R. Lott although I couldn't stand the 9'ers, but Lott was the best I ever saw, but as Matty said I think we will see thing's out of this kid that will turn him into the LT of safties, for as dumb as he may seem off the field, he may be the smartest player on it, the man may be the most instinctive defensive player there is in the game, and that includes Lewis, and Reed!

dblanch66 08-26-2005, 06:12 PM If this guy can focus himself on playing at the highest level he will become the best player in football I think. He is arguably one of the top 5 or so athletes in the game. He reminds me so much of Arrington in terms of his mix of size athleticism and skill. Arrington has been a good ball player but something has kept him from getting to that next level... The Ray Lewis level. Maybe it is his tendency to free wheel it and maybe it has been circumstance but hopefully Taylor will be able to follow the path of Lewis (on the field only please) and not Lavar. I love Lavar but he has not reached his super high potential. Maybe this year he will.
I'm in the Sean Taylor fan club too. As far as Lavar goes...in all fairness, he hasn't ever been in a consistent defense and has been asked to do way too many things and then the next year had to unlearn what he learned in previous years. Give him some continuity in one system and he'll be the player we all hope and pray he can be.
