Anyone having disconnect problems when playing on-line? Me and 3 other people I know (we all use Comcast ISP) are constantly being disconnected during on-line play. Comcast states they don't see any problems on their end. I'm curious to see if this is an isolated incident, a problem on EA server side or what. :banghead:

I haven't tried to play online yet...

On a side note, do you have to use the passing cones online? Just curious.

Yes, you have to use vision cone when playing on-line. Well....you do with ranked matches at least. I'm not sure if there's an option to turn it off for non-ranked matches. Still getting disconnected, but seems it's less frequent.

I'm on XBox Live using Comcast high-speed internet in Richmond, and I usually don't have any problems with disconnects on my end. It's usually the folks I'm playing against that disconnect, either intentionally or because of a poor connection. Sometimes, the action gets a little choppy, but that's usually when my wife is using the computer online... and then I politely ask her to please stop using the computer while I'm playing Madden online. :biggthump

Took me a while to spot this thread, but I have Comcast also and have had at least 15-20 losses caused by drops (though some of those games I would have lost, half of those happened with me in the lead). I had Cox for years and never had this many problems. I do notice when I am online on the computer, I will get the "network cable unplugged" message from MS a couple times a week, but it only lasts a couple seconds and I'm surfing again like normal. That's enough though to screw up my online game if this problem happens.

they might be resetting your bios to make sure uncappers are caught/re-capped... also, if you don't have a firewall it might be various viruses and scripts looking for exploits and such...
