With the departure of Smoot, Pierce, and Baily the year before, how do we feel about the corner situation now that preseason is finally over. And has Marshall been an adequate replacement for Pierce?

By the way, how have those guys played with their respective new teams this pre-season? Other than Pierce, I haven't heard much.

As much as I liked Smoot when he was here... My feeling is that Rogers will soon make all of forget about Smoot.

As for Marshall vs. Pierce... it's way too early to tell. I need to see Marshall start 4-5 games before I have a real opinion on him. It will be interesting to see if Pierce was the real deal or had a career-year last year. Personally, I think he will have a fine year with the Giants.
