He was already hired. Didn't need to say anything. He didn't need to make any comments about his time in DC.

he does though, what do you think the first questions he's asked?
why do you like this team, why is it better than you're last one... everyone does something similar. He said that he wanted to stay here publicly many times, win or lose, and that he would have liked to stay with one team.

I don't know, it seems like if you want to be offended, its easy to find something to be offended by... pierce and smoot took bigger "pot shots" than that though.

Maybe McCants mom can help McNabb's mom serve Campbell's soup to the fans. :oink:

I guess sometimes it just does not pay to pay much attention to what players say. I said as much after listning to D Mack's first interview.I have learned through the years that what they "DO" is far more important than what they say.

I remember McCants showed great enthusiasm about Gibbs' arrival, even showing up with a number of other players (including Chad Morton?) to greet him at Redskins Park. Didn't McCants say something about being a 'Skins fan ever since watching Gibbs's teams as a kid?

I really thought he was going to be a good fit for this team at that time, but after showing poor work ethic last season and dropping passes this preseason, there was no reason for the man to stay. I don't blame him for moving on, but whatever way you look at it, it's disappointing when one of our own goes to a divisional rival.
