Two Hypothetical Questions...

Imagine trading Smoot away and Springs getting injured so that he misses 6 games. Given what is on the roster now, the word that springs to mind is "OUCH !!!"

And I completely agree that if you're going to try for the #1 overall pick I'd first see what I could get for that pick. I wouldn't want to keep the pick but use it, as curmudgeon says, for future moves

I agree completely. Smoot has steadily gotten better each year, has become a huge team leader, and has won over a lot of fans by his play and attitude. IMO he could possibly be headed to the Pro-bowl this year...
