Our defense is better than the Chargers defense (in both scheme and personnel). If your team scores 28 points I will eat my own turds.

To any and all posters on this topic:

This is an emotional week for us all. To la73hof and D'BOYZ, while you have both been level-headed posters and welcome additions to this forum, fuses here are going to be short this week. Though by no means do I excuse any aggressive posts toward you personally, you should expect to hear wicked, nasty things about your team. Should you feel personally insulted or attacked by a poster here, please don't allow the problem to escalate to the point where fans of either team get banned.

To my fellow Redskins fans: we here at thewarpath.net (and that includes you) pride ourselves on being a place for "Redskins Discussion for the Knowledgable Fan". Though I disagree with la72hof and D'BOYZ about a lot of things - primarily who they root for on Sundays, they've done nothing to raise our ire - these guys aren't that great Bears spokesman "FORESKINS GO DOWN". Should you feel personally insulted or attacked them or any other posters here, please don't allow the problem to escalate to the point where fans of either team get banned.

Finally, a plea to people who aren't fans of either team. Precisely what are you doing here? This isn't some coffee clatch where we knit tea cozies. Get thee to some other website, and never darken our hand towels again.

Lavar Arrington. He likes playing in Dallas. He is another week further along in his conditioning. He is going to start. He is salivating. He is going after Drew. He would like to pull an "Aikman". I would like to see that.
:dallas:

I'd prefer Demarcus Ware pull a Theismann...

Highly rated Chargers defense??????.........last year they ranked 18th.....BELOW even the Cowboys last year.....Redskins were ranked 3rd in the NFL.....although we had some minor changes.....loss of Smoot, I like Rogers better, and we also lost Pierce, but Marshall's play seems adequate

AND you were helped by those 3 third down penalties that resulted in an automatic first down for the Boyz......

I meant to say run defense

Their secondary is sub par

la73hof,

Cowboys 17, Redskins 14. .

Reverse psychology, huh? ;)

Don't bet on the games. PRam may be ok, but HOF Coach Gibbs hasn't forgotten he owes MB his life based on their first meeting!

Brunell would be a better fit this game

A stationary target in the pocket for you guys is not a desirable one...

For me, the game comes down to these battles:

#1. Redskins blitz packages against Cowboys pass blocking vs. Cowboys blitz packages against Redskins pass blocking

#2. Big plays for the Redskins (Moss/Portis/Cooley) vs. big plays for the Cowboys (Johnson/Jones/Witten)

#3. +/- turnover stats

I give a wash in both #1 and #2. I plan to see some pressure on both QBs and a few big plays from the skill positions. The game should be won or loss on turnovers. Which defene can create them and which offense can limit them.

#4) Your OT blocking Brunells blindside now has 2 broken thumbs
