Funny Ramsey got drop kicked by a blitz from his non blind side on a blown assignment by Jansen. Hopefully our sluggish replacement has 360 degree vision.LOL:lol:

moving on, how much of a shock to the gameplan is having a new and left-handed QB being inserted suddenly into the offense?

do offensive line pass-blocking schemes change drastically? are pass play routes mirror imaged (especially the quick slants and safety valves)? does it affect hand-offs and trick plays? how much has to be re-practiced or is it all relatively minor?

maybe more importantly, how does it affect the opponents defense?

Crisp? anyone who played in high school or college with a southpaw QB?

One thing I remember one of the receivers saying last year (Either Gardner or Coles, can't recall) they said how different the two throws were to adjust to. Ramsey throws a really hard high velocity ball and Brunell throws a touch ball. He also said the different arms have different deliveries.
In camp last year, Coles was (surprise!) recovering from injury, but wanted to run the non-contact passing drills to get used to a left handed spiral.

Upon the return of Ramsey last year, Cooley remarked how much harder the ball got to him.

Neither change is a excuse for highly paid professionals to drop the ball, regardless.

In the end it will still come down to someone throwing the ball and someone catching it, and in between guys blocking their tails off.

There may be subtle differences, but nothing to be too overly concerned over.

A lefty ball will obviously have a different spin, and Ramsey throws harder but at the same time has been working on his touch.

Isn't that what all the OTAs were for this Spring and early summer, for guys to get use to each other? I don't think Brunell's ball will bother Moss or Cooley or Patten. If Brunell throws quick short passes, it won't matter which way it is spinning. I just hope he has enough velocity on his passes to fit them into tight places. If Dallas gets too aggressive, I think some screens could really burn them.
