Maybe they just don't want to take the risk of sending him back in too early.

You know what happened the last time they did that -- Arrington made an issue out of it with the media.

The Skins are damned if they play him, and damned if they don't.

Who cares. We're winning without him, and that's all that matters right now. If, God forbid Marcus Washington, Warrick Holdman, or Lemar Marshall goes down to injury, that's one hell of a backup player we have waiting.

lavar and patrick ramsey could both be traded this off season, that could be how we get our first round pick back, which we used to get jason campbell.

I was discussing this point with a friend of mine tonight. Lavar's performance has not gotten particularly better and some team would certainly give up a first round draft pick because he would essentially be healthy going into the offseason. Holdman has played good enough to keep his position and Arrington has made a difference when he's on the field. Ramsey and Arrington are the first on the chopping block. I see Gibbs going after a young DT and big TE on the offseason.

I thought that the reporters at the game said that he doesnt fit into many packages.

Is it true that maybe he simply can't buy into a scheme? I've always gotten the vibe that It's all about LaVar from him. He wants to freelance, he wants to be a star, he wants to get more for his jerseys than any other player. While LaVar makes some huge plays he can often be caught out of position which can really hurt our team. I feel Greg Williams knows best what to do with him and if he doesn't fit in, oh well.

I also seriously doubt this is a trade scheme. I'm no crazy cannuck but I don't think a trade is even POSSIBLE with his contract anytime within the next five years.

exactly we can't trade him and we can't use him. Is it possible for him to give back our cap penalty and us be able to trade him??? also he does have that thing in his new contract about 2 Probowls that he could leave. Now we wouldn't have to pay the cap penalty if he opts to leave, but the only problem is he has to play before he makes the probowl

Please trade him to Dallas!!!! I don't know why he doesn't buy into Greg Williams scheme, but he can PLAY, no doubt. You will regret getting rid of him, but if he just won't fit into a system that is doing great then......

The defense was really good without Lavar last year, and continues to play really well this year because they're playing as a team and not allowing one or two stars to get what is theirs..so to speak! I do want Lavar back in there..I think he's a special player, but we are doing quite well without him so far.

I think everyone goes through their struggles, including Arrington. He just has to realize that he is part of a team and not just an individual component. I love Lavar, but I am a little disappointed in what appears to be a little bit of selfishness. I hope everything works out because the team needs the type of emotional leadership that he provides.

Lavar needs to be a team player regardless of the circumstances and what he has gone through in the past.

The defense has been pretty solid without Lavar, but I think we miss the turnovers and game changing ability he brings when he steps on the field.

In an interview with Greg Williams on the Skins website, he said he doesn't draft people or get trades to fit in to any particular scheme. He said he adapts to whoever he has on the field. So, I am confused as to why they wouldn't think Lavar would fit in.
