This is aimed mostly at JoeRedskin, but I'm always glad to help anybody who has spyware problems.

First, right click on your "My Computer" icon and then go to "Properties"

Find the Remote tab which will look like this below:

Make sure you have both options enabled (on Windows XP Home, you'll only have one option, but enable it)

After you've enabled that, just contact me through PM and I'll get your IP address so that I can log in.

Malcolm,

It might not work if he doesn't have a password. That is a problem I ran into when I tried remoting into my dad's computer.

Yeah, normally when I talk to people on IM, I make sure they create an account for me to login to. I HAVE noticed that when there is no password that I'm not able to login.

without an account, vnc will work, of course you've got to set that up too...

Right, he has to have the "network" stuff setup on his computer as well I believe.

hey what or how would i be able to tell if i am haveing spyware problems? also i use ad-aware to help protect against spyware, have any of you heard of it and if so is it good to use?

Ad-aware doesn't protect against spyware unless you have the full version. Ad-aware IS a great tool for getting rid of it however. Spybot Search & Destroy and Spywareblaster are the best programs to block spyware.

You'll know if you have it if you aren't at your computer and you get random pop-ups. You'll also notice general computer slowness.
